Resources

In this segment of my blog you will find many resources for you and your family regarding; child development, standards, code of ethics, curriculums, diversity, programs, and so much more. I encourage you to visit my blog periodically with updates on new resources.

According to Awakening 360; resources are what nourish you, what serves you, what helps you relieve stress, and in the end puts a smile on your face and makes life worth living. Some of these resources will support you and have no side effects and others will cause more problems than the good you feel in the moment. Over time, weeding out the unsupportive resources and replacing them with nourishing ones will help to create more and more well-being. I hope these will all nourish you, support you, and in the end relieve you of your stresses.

  1. Maria,
Your post on what resources are reminded me of the numerous internal resources that we all have. Taking that deep breath, counting to ten, even pacing or tapping are some resources that we can take advantage of to help relieve stress on a daily basis. Nothing like a hot cut of tea, and a warm bath after a hard day. You reminded me that sometimes the resource is needed to self-medicate and not always to solve the problem or concern of another.
    Thanks for sharing.

  2. Our schools need more encouragement, resources, and time to devote attention to environmental education. They need funding and other support to train teachers to incorporate environmental education into their everyday lesson plans and to develop the confidence and skills to take their students outdoors to learn.

  3. As I was looking at the awakening 360 site I think about all the times we, in my classroom, have joked about needing a message after certain days or weeks. Or even just going to get our nails and toes done. After reading the site I don't think it should be just a joke anymore. The saying goes---you can't take care of others until you take care of yourself. I guess I need to take that into consideration when it comes to my classroom of kiddos too!

  4. I loved your statement from Awakening 360. I definitely agree that our resources makes our lives a whole lot easier. If it was not for the resources that we have access to today then we would be in for a rude awakening.
