My day would not go right, nor would I feel accomplished if I did not depend on my daily supports. My daily supports consist of my children, a list, my fiancé, my best friend, my family, my car, and my peers at work. On a daily basis I count on all these supports just to get through my day and feel accomplished.
My children are my world, and although they depend on me I also depend on them, they keep me motivated to reach my goals in life, I can’t see life without their love and support. Before I go to bed every night I have to make a mental list of what the day is going to be like for my household. Depending on how much I actually have to get done I write a list out just to ensure I had a productive day for both myself and my children.
Since the day I have met my fiancĂ© he has been a huge help to me that I know now I could not get through a day without him. Franky will call me every day just to ask me “how can I help you get through your day today!” Sometimes I just need to vent to him, but sometimes I actually need him to run an errand for me and he does it with no questions. I am marrying a man that is identical to my best friend Betty, we have been best friends for 32 years and not a day goes by without some kind of communication. I need my best friend because she understands me so well and always knows when to put me in my place. Both of these relationships are special to me and a huge part of what completes me on a daily basis.
My family, I feel like I am the luckiest person in the world just because of my family. By no means are we the perfect family, but when the time comes and help is needed my family is there. Throughout my day I have contact with one of my family members, even if it’s just to say “I love you” “how are you” or “I was thinking about you” or to plan an event a daily phone call is made. My family consists of 3 sisters, 2 brothers, my mother, my aunt, my 2 brother in laws, and all our children. Not a moment of sorrow or fun goes by without all these individuals included. Every other Sunday we get together for our family dinner, and every birthday and holiday is spent together.
My car is how I get through my day, without my car I could not get my children to school, myself to work, run my errands, or get my son to his weekly doctor appointments. I make sure to keep up with the maintenance on my car simply because I rely on it on a daily basis. Just like my peers, in order for me to get my work done I need the daily support of my peers. I work in one of the smallest sites we have and can honestly tell you that I appreciate every individual I work with. We are all so helpful and caring towards each other that when one individual calls out we all feel lost, we get through our day just fine, but the individual is missed. My peers are my second family, without them I can’t imagine what kind of day I would have a work.
